The Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance is excited to announce the launch of their new website at www.FlagDBA.com. DBA Member, Jeff Saville created the new site. He and his wife own Brookside Chocolate Company, located in the Old Town Shops at Leroux & Birch. The DBA runs events geared at bringing people downtown to shop, dine and enjoy the great downtown ambiance. These events include Movies on the Square, the New Years Eve Block Party and Route 66 Days (which occurs this weekend!). See you Downtown!

The Festival kicks off this year with the 2007 Miss Flagstaff Route 66 Pageant on Thursday, Sept. 6th, 6-8pm, Doris Harper White Playhouse, 11 W. Cherry Ave. Contestants compete for the honor of representing Flagstaff in annual Route 66 Events. The next event is the final Movies on the Square of the season on September 7th - with the movie Cars. The movie starts at dusk at Heritage Square. September 8th features a car show (300 cars have now registered!). The show will begin Saturday morning, downtown, at 7am, and runs until about 5:30pm. 59 trophies will be given, so don’t miss out on the fun! For more information on the Car Show, visit this website. At the City Hall (211 W. Aspen Ave.) parking lot, the fun continues with Fine Arts & Crafts, Live Entertainment, Food and fun children’s activities. Festivities begin at 9am, and continues to 8pm.
