This is really exciting news, and skiers are holding their breath in anticipation of a December opening! Last weekend’s snowstorm blanketed the area with 14 inches of snow at the base and 27 inches at mid- mountain. The snow was ideal for the ski area - being very heavy, wet, and perfect for establishing the base for what hopefully will be continued snowfall and a great season ahead.

Specific details of trails, lifts, lodges, and services available will be determined and listed on the Snowbowl website early next week.

Hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Lift ticket prices will be $48 for Adults, $26 for juniors (ages 8- 12) and seniors (ages 65-69) and it is free for those 7 & under and 70 & over. (Source: Arizona Snowbowl)
